Mátyás Bartha Trio feat. Scott Robinson
In 2025, saxophonist Scott Robinson joined pianist Mátyás Bartha’s trio to record their first album together, to be released in 2026. Their collaboration spans a striking range of repertoire—from Sidney Bechet to Charles Strouse—unified by a deep attention to lyricism and musical storytelling. Robinson, known for his work with Chet Baker, Maria Schneider, and Lionel Hampton, performs on tenor saxophone, trumpet, and the Hungarian tárogató.
